NJVC Promotes Kyle Rhodes to Vice President, Systems Engineering

Vienna, Va., Feb. 2, 2010 — NJVC, one of the largest information technology (IT) solutions providers supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), promoted Kyle Rhodes to the position of vice president, systems engineering, and deputy program manager for the company’s largest federal customer. Rhodes is based in St. Louis.

Rhodes has more than 25 years of experience in the intelligence and DoD communities, as well as significant industry expertise, and has been with NJVC since January 2002. At NJVC he served as the senior manager responsible for contract consolidation, resulting in an increase of more than 1,200 resources on the contract, and for the successful transition of six major operations and sustainment contracts valued at more than $200 million. Rhodes also served as the director of the systems engineering office, annually delivering more than $80 million in negotiated proposals, and is credited with the development of the company’s cyber security service offering.

Prior to joining NJVC Rhodes served as the chief of the infrastructure engineering division for the National Intelligence and Mapping Agency. He received his Bachelor of Science in cartography from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo. Rhodes received his Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act certification from the Defense Acquisitions University in 2001 and graduated from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management Executive Leadership Program in 1993.
