A trio of chief financial officers (CFOs) for area tech companies predicted continual, moderate growth for the U.S. economy throughout 2010, speaking to a brunch crowd Friday at an event sponsored by the NVTC. Brian Helman, CFO of language-learning software company Rosetta Stone, based in Rosslyn, Va., saw the company through a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO) last April in the midst of a tough economy. "We went for it and it turned out to be a good decision," Helman said.
