CHANTILLY, VA --
NetVision Resources, Inc. and GTRAS, Inc. have entered into a merger agreement. The combined entity will be called NetVision Resources, Inc. (NVR), and offer application development, quality assurance, enterprise resource planning and business intelligence services nationwide.
Chantilly based GTRAS, Inc. (Global Technology Resources and Solutions) was incorporated in 2000 as a small, woman-owned business enterprise. The company provides end-to-end IT solutions across multiple technologies and provides staffing and on-demand services. This agreement joins it with NetVision Resources, a small, minority-owned business enterprise-providing comprehensive IT services in the Washington, DC metro area since its inception in 1999 with both public and private sector clients. NVR recently received its ISO 9001 certification.
A similar business vision and approach to growth and client satisfaction are reported to be the key drivers for the decision to combine the two entities. GTRAS and NVR have been working in close partnership to provide IT solutions to clients over the years. This history of collaboration is given as a primary reason for a smooth transition of the business operations in the newly combined company.
The executive leadership of the combined organization will consist of the top management team members from both firms. "With our bigger size and combined pool of resources, we are in a stronger position to serve our clients with better efficiency and business results than before," said Srinivas Mankala, President & CEO of NetVision Resources.
The newly formed company believes "synergy from all business operations arising from the merger will strengthen the NetVision focus on project-based contracting for Federal, State and local government agencies."
The new company will keep existing business certifications and contract vehicles and offer a combined set of service offerings: Enterprise Solutions, IT Services, Professional Services and Solutions in emerging areas such as Mobile Application Development, Healthcare IT and Cyber Security.
