InfoPro Wins $57.2 Million Contract with U.S. Department of Homeland Security
McLean, Va.-based InfoPro wins $57.2 million contract to provide software design and support to 50,000 U.S. customs and border protection employees.

InfoPro won a $57.2 contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection for system design and support for U.S. border enforcement. The Customs and Border Protection oversees U.S. borders and ports of entry.
InfoPro will provide software design and support services to 50,000 customs employees at the administration, border patrol, field ops, human resources, and air and marine offices.
"The Border Enforcement and Management Systems contract continues our 13-year history working with CBP," said Sue Graham, InfoPro’s CEO. Graham founded InfoPro 20 years ago. The company has since grown to more than 250 employees.
InfoPro will lead a team including QinetiQ North America and ViaTech Systems Inc. from McLean, Va. and Xterra Corporation from Purcellville, Va. Under the contract, the companies will provide project management support, business process re-engineering, business case development, new technology evaluation, application systems development, maintenance of application systems, and user training. The contract goes until August 2012.
InfoPro has provided IT support to a variety of government agencies, including the U.S. Army and Coast Guard, the Departments of Commerce, Health & Human Services, Homeland Security, Transportation, and Treasury, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
