Carpathia Hosting Announces Partnership with Citrix for Enterprise Cloud Solution

Carpathia Hosting, a provider of enterprise managed hosting and cloud services, announced it had formed a partnership with Citrix Systems to build its second-generation enterprise cloud solution. The Carpathia cloud solution, known as Carpathia InstantOn, will be developed using XenServer technology from Citrix. The solution combines Carpathia’s hosting services with Citrix’s virtualization technology and will be designed for customers interested in deploying applications in the cloud.
In addition to the development of its cloud solution, the partnership also will allow Carpathia to expand its offering of hosting services throughout its 12 datacenters located throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Already the company said it has migrated its infrastructure behind Citrix Netscaler MPX, a system that a provides web security and load balancing.
