CALIBRE Announces Appointment of New President & CEO

March 1, 2010 Alexandria, Virginia, March 1, 2010 – Joseph A. Martore has been named President & Chief Executive Officer of
CALIBRE Systems, Inc., announced Lieutenant General Tom Carney (USA-Ret.), Chairman of the Board of CALIBRE. Martore, who was named President on December 1, 2009, and serves on the company’s Board of Directors, succeeds Mr. William E. DePuy, who retired on February 28, 2010 after twenty-one years with the company.

His depth of knowledge of our services and products, our market and our company is invaluable. We are confident that he is the right person to take the company into the future," said LTG Carney.
Martore joined CALIBRE in March 2004, as part of the acquisition of Strategic Management Initiatives, Inc. (SMI) where he served as President & CEO. He served as CALIBRE’s Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer from 1 March 2008 to 30 November 2009. Earlier in his career, Martore served on the staff of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and holds an M.B.A. from George Washington University.
