Advanced Solutions International (ASI), a global provider of Web-based software for member and donor-based non-profits based in Virginia, announced that nearly 300 organizations invested in its iMIS 15 solution in 2009.
iMIS 15, which was released in 2009, is the only product, according to ASI, that combines database and Web content management functionalities in a single system to allow non-profit organizations to "easily mix and match Web content with iMIS functionalities." The growth in 2009 contributed to a 14 percent increase in software license revenue for the company, and pushed total market share of associations using their database and web—based solutions to 40 percent.
ASI chairman and CEO, BobAlves, was pleased with the results and attributed the high total of customers to "non-profits invest[ing] in our software to streamline operations, boost staff productivity and provide greater insight into customer needs as a strategy to prepare for recovery in 2010."
The news comes as a recent customer satisfaction survey by Lehman Associates that named ASI as one of the best in the industry.
